Q: What is ShufflePoint all about?
Allowing people to make better use of their investment in PowerPoint® content and skills.
ShufflePoint is a PowerPoint slide management solution that allows individuals and organizations
to get control over their presentations. ShufflePoint allows you to easily find, reuse, and edit slides,
all within your web browser.
Q: How much does ShufflePoint cost?
As explained on our Pricing page, one single user ShufflePoint subscription costs $29 per month.
Q: What is the signup process?
On the signup page, you will enter basic contact and credit card information.
Near the end of the 30 day trial period, we will send you a reminder email prior to submitting any charges against your credit card.
Q: What payment methods are available?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
We do not accept POs, checks, or invoices to be paid at a later date.
We do email a "PAID" invoice each time you are billed.
Q: What is your refund policy?
If you cancel your account within 30 days of signing up, you won't be
charged a thing. If you choose to cancel your account after the 30 day trial
period, you will never be charged again, but you are responsible for charges
already incurred up until your cancellation. Refunds cannot be issued, and we
don't prorate for partial billing periods. You can
easily cancel your account by logging in and clicking the “Cancel my account”
link in the “My ShufflePoint” page.
Q: How is hosted software different than traditional software?
Hosted software is accessed through the Internet using a Web browser. This eliminates the need to install software and software updates on your computer. With hosted software, you get the most updated software version every time you log on. ShufflePoint is a hosted application, meaning you can access our software and your account from any computer with an Internet connection and a Web browser.
Q: Do I need to download anything to run ShufflePoint?
No. All you need is a browser that supports Adobe® Flash® 9 and an Internet connection.
Q: Do I still need Microsoft® PowerPoint?
PowerPoint is needed to create new original content, which you will upload to your ShufflePoint catalog. For viewing presentations generated with ShufflePoint, you can use the free Microsoft® PowerPoint viewer for Windows® or Mac®.
Q: Can I add new users to my catalog?
Yes. You can add users to your catalog. By default, users will have restricted permissions that will not allow catalog modifications; however, they will be able to build new presentations out of the slides in your catalog.
Q: Is there an installed version available?
Yes. You can purchase an installed license for ShufflePoint.
When installed locally, ShufflePoint provides a rich database report generation capability.
