ShufflePoint Studio for PowerPoint - Placeholder Editing
If the selected slide is in the Presentation panel, then moving the mouse over the Slide Preview image will expose a green box when the mouse is over editable content. Clicking inside this box will change the box color from green to red, indicating that the underlying content has been selected for editing or data association. If the selected content is a text placeholder (not a table or chart), then the editor can be used to modify it.
Click the
button at the bottom of the Slide Preview
panel to open the editor.
You can also double-click inside a green box as a shortcut to both select the content and open the editor.
When the content has been edited and saved by clicking the Save button in the editor window,
the preview image will be updated to reflect the new content if the Refresh Image checkbox is checked.
If you do not check Refresh Image, you can update the image later by clicking on the
button at the bottom of the Slide Preview panel.
You can revert the selected content to the slide's original catalog value by clicking the
button at the bottom of this panel.

Editor Checkboxes
The editor contains two checkboxes - "Word Wrap" and "Auto Size". These correspond to the equivalent checkboxes in PowerPoint, which are located in the "Text Box" tab of the "Format AutoShape" dialog. "Word Wrap" corresponds to PowerPoint's "Word wrap text in AutoShape" and "Auto Size" corresponds to PowerPoint's "Resize AutoShape to fit text".
Supported Characters & Symbols
The editor supports all Unicode characters. Symbols from fonts such as Wingdings are not supported, and will appear as an unexpected character in the editor. Unicode does support most of the symbols needed for professional PowerPoints. Adding or editing Unicode can be done on Windows® using the Character Map utility (under Start/Accessories/System tools). On the Macintosh®, use the Character Palette utility to enter Unicode characters. You will need to insert the character first into TextEdit and then copy and paste it to the ShufflePoint editor dialog.
