Google Analytics Settings
This feature is for users who have configured one or more Google Analytics profiles for use with ShufflePoint. See the “Manage Profiles” link on the “My ShufflePoint” page (the page you see after logging into ShufflePoint).
Select an “Analytics Profile” from the first drop down list. The “Date Range” list defaults to “Last 30 days”, which means that whenever the presentation is generated, the last 30 days of data will be used. All other options work the same way except the “Given” option, which requires you to select a specific start and end date that will always be used when this presentation is generated. Once you have completed your selections, click the OK button to save them and dismiss the dialog. If you check the “Refresh Images” option, then the slide preview images for the current presentation will be updated with the latest Google Analytics data.
Master Selection
You can optionally override the slide master used to generate your presentation; either for all slides in a presentation or for just one slide. By default, the master originally used when a slide was created in the PowerPoint uploaded to the catalog will be used for this slide in all presentations.
If you have uploaded several PowerPoint presentations that use different masters to your catalog, and you add slides to a new presentation from each of these catalog presentations, you may want to force all slides to use a single master for consistency in your new presentation.
When the Select Master
button
is clicked, you will see a dialog with a list of available slide masters.
These slide masters are added to your catalog automatically when
PowerPoint files are uploaded to the catalog. Each available master is
depicted as a pair of images; 1) the title slide master and 2) the normal slide master.
The “Whole Presentation” option is selected by default. This means that a master selection will apply to all slides in the presentation. If the “Selected Slide” option is selected, then the master selection will only be applied to the currently selected slide in the presentation. To apply a master selection, click the Apply button. All affected slides will then display updated images that reflect the master selection.
If you have previously applied a master selection, and want to remove it, then click the Clear button. If you have previously applied a master selection to the whole presentation, you will notice that this master is pre-selected in the master list when the dialog opens.
If you switch to the “Selected Slide” mode, the selection list is now waiting for you to choose a master for the selected slide. After making and applying a selection, the dialog will be dismissed. If you check the “Refresh Images” option, then the slide preview images for the current presentation will be updated. If this is the first time a slide with associated Google Analytics data has been refreshed, then the latest data will appear in the updated image. If a slide with Google Analytics data has been previously updated, then only the master change will be reflected in the updated image.
