ShufflePoint Studio for PowerPoint - Slide Preview

The bottom-middle panel shows a large preview of the currently selected slide, which can be in the Carousel panel or the Presentation panel.

Slide Preview

Clicking on the “Preview” tab will show a large preview image of the currently selected slide. If the selected slide is in the Presentation panel, then moving the mouse over this image will expose a green box when the mouse is over editable content. Clicking inside this box will change the box color from green to red, indicating that the underlying content has been selected for editing or data association. Clicking on the “Notes” tab shows the notes associated with this slide.

Placeholder Editing

Click the Editor button at the bottom of this panel to open the editor. You can also double-click inside a green box as a shortcut to both select the content and open the editor. When the content has been edited and saved by clicking the Save button in the editor window, the preview image will be updated to reflect the new content if the Refresh Image checkbox is checked. If you do not check Refresh Image, you can update the image later by clicking on the Refresh image button at the bottom of this panel. You can revert the selected content to the slide's original catalog value by clicking the Revert button at the bottom of this panel. See Placeholder Editing for more information.

Placeholder Association with Google Analytics Data

This feature is for users who have configured one or more Google Analytics profiles for use with ShufflePoint. See the “Google Analytics” link on your “My ShufflePoint” page (the page you see after logging into ShufflePoint).

Click the Data Association button at the bottom of this panel to open the data association tool. If you have not already set the presentation's “Google Analytics settings” by clicking the Google Analytics settings button in the Presentation panel, then you will be prompted to select a default profile and timeframe for this presentation. Clicking the Next button will bring up the “Google Analytics Query” dialog. This dialog is used to associate the selected placeholder with Google Analytics data. Use the drag-and-drop query builder or click the query tab and enter an AQL query. Then click the Get Results button to verify the query results. Finally click the Save button to save your choices. If you check the Refresh Image checkbox, then the slide image will be updated based on your selections. If you do not check Refresh Image, you can update the image later by clicking on the Refresh image with latest data button at the bottom of this panel. You can revert the selected content to the slide's original catalog value by clicking the Revert button at the bottom of this panel. See Placeholder with Google Analytics for more information.


Note that the Editor, Data Association and Revert buttons do not apply to slides in the Carousel panel.

Slide Notes

Clicking on the second tab will show the notes associated with the currently selected slide.

Shrink/Expand

To see more slides at once in the Carousel panel, click the Shrink Shrink button at the top-right of this panel. To return the panel to its normal size, click the Expand Expand button, which will appear after the panel has been minimized.
